Mala’s originated from Tibet and are used often in seated meditation by spinning one bead at a time between your thumb and pointer finger while either repeating a mantra, prayer, affirmation statement, or even just taking a breath. The Mala can also be worn as a necklace or bracelet throughout your day as a reminder of your intention/focus.
Come make your own meditation Mala or make one to gift someone this holiday season. Either way, once you learn, you'll be able to enjoy the meditative and creative processes on your own in the future.
